Pharmaceutical Analysis

The Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis at GRT Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (GRTIPER), affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, is committed to excellence in teaching, research, and professional training in pharmaceutical sciences. The department provides students with a strong foundation in the qualitative and quantitative analysis of pharmaceutical substances, ensuring the quality, safety, and efficacy of medicines.

The department offers a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge and practical training using modern analytical instruments, including UV-Visible Spectrophotometers, FTIR Spectrometers, High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Fluorimeters, Nephelometers, and Bioanalyzers. The well-equipped laboratories enable students to develop technical competence and analytical skills relevant to academia, research, and the pharmaceutical industry.

The department actively promotes research in analytical method development and validation, pharmaceutical quality assurance, phytopharmaceutical analysis, cosmetic analysis, and food analysis.
